New regulation: Number of passengers depends on vehicle capacity

During a press conference on Tuesday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced new regulations for the capacity of passengers allowed during the conditional movement control order.
He said private vehicle owners will be allowed to carry up to seven passengers, provided that their vehicle has that capacity to accommodate.
He said the regulation will come into effect on May 27 and stressed that all passengers are required to be from the same household.
