Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming has apologised for remarks made during the “I Lite U” lighting project in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, that drew criticism.

The controversy arose after he reprimanded a reporter who questioned why the event’s name was in English instead of Malay.
