A group of NGOs has filed police reports en masse against the planned Dec 28 gathering to be organised by educationist group Dong Jiao Zong.
Speaking to reporters outside the Kajang police headquarters on Wednesday, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Darul Islah Malaysia president Masridzi Sat said the group had asked for, among others, investigation papers to be opened against Dong Zong leaders for alleged sedition and also for the gathering to be cancelled.
Dong Zong central committee member Low Chee Chong has previously said that the gathering would only be held inside the New Era University College building to discuss over Jawi issue, and there was no plan for the participants to go outside for a rally.
