The suspect behind the explosion in Desa Palma, Nilai is believed to have made the improvised explosive device (IED) because he harboured resentment towards his ex-girlfriend who left him five years ago.

Nilai police chief Supt Johari Yahya said the 62-year-old suspect often spoke about his failed relationship to a neighbour, thus reinforcing his confession.
