No decision yet on Bumiputera quota in ECRL project, says PM

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government has yet to decide on granting the Bumiputra contractors at least 20% of public works in the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project.

The premier said that on Monday when asked to comment on the Malaysian Bumiputera Contractors Association’s request for a special quota to be created for Bumiputera contractors undertaking civil works for the ECRL.
