No tax defaulters among expats in Malaysia, says Immigration DG

Records show that no expatriate workers in the country failed to pay taxes imposed on them, says Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud.
The Immigration Department director-general said this after a ceremony for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Immigration Department and Inland Revenue Board (IRB) on information sharing on expatriates on Tuesday (August 9), added that IRB statistics showed that taxes collected from expatriates have increased yearly.
