No vote-buying, Bersatu warns ahead of party polls

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia's election committee has warned candidates in the party's (Bersatu) coming party’s polls that there should be no golf treats, no umrah or travel packages and no abuse of power in campaigning.
The election committee on Wednesday briefed the media on the preparations for the party's inaugural polls, which are due to begin next month.
Nomination day for positions in Bersatu branches will be on Jan 26 and polling will take place from March 29, while the divisional polls will be on April 18.
Nomination for Bersatu supreme council positions will be open on March 16 and the annual general meeting will be held from June 25 to June 28.
