Also known as somtam in Thailand, the dish is popular throughout the kingdom.
While raw papaya is the main ingredient used to make Somtam, the 44-year-old vendor substitutes it with carrot, bananas, pomelos, mangoes, banana flower and various types of vegetables.
Meanwhile, sun-dried shrimps and fermented crabs are other typical ingredients used to make the dish.
However, customers can also order eggs, mushrooms, clams, fresh or pickled crab, beef and pork to add into the dish.
