Number of flood evacuees rises in Perak, drops in Kedah, search for victims continues

More flood victims are being evacuated to relief centres in Perak and Kedah due to floods in both states since Wednesday.

Kedah Ruler Sultan Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah extended his condolences to the families of victims, and hoped that the individuals still missing will be found safe, while the Raja Muda of Kedah, Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin on Saturday visited the areas affected by Wednesday’s floods, and was briefed on the ongoing search-and-rescue operations to locate two missing victims.
