Online porn scam syndicate busted in KL; 57 nabbed

Police have busted a scam syndicate distributing pornographic content under the guise of a registered company, following a July 1 raid.

Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said 57 people, including 26 women, were arrested at a business premises on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.

The syndicate, active for just three months, ran a website offering live pornographic content, with users required to "like and share" the platform for limited-time free access.
