Only 10 minutes to cross Penang channel on fast boat ferries

Ferry passengers will soon get across the Penang channel in under 10 minutes using fast boat ferries, and there will a maximum of 40 trips a day.
Penang Port Sdn Bhd (PPSB) chief operating officer Radhi Mohamad on Monday said during the interim phase from Jan 1 to June 30, 2022, upgrading works will be done on Sultan Abdul Halim ferry terminal in Butterworth and Raja Tun Uda ferry terminal in Weld Quay for the new ferry services.
