In an interview coordinated by the Asia News Network, The Star spoke to China Daily's freelance reporter Rajneesh Bhandari onsite at the Trishuli tributary in Nepal's Nuwakot district hit by the deadly flooding and mudslide. He highlighted the lack of early warning system and urgency to locate survivors.
