Opposition MP Mas Ermieyati claims she, Muhiddyin barred from attending theatre show

Opposition MP Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin (PN-Masjid Tanah) claimed she and former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin were barred from attending a theatre performance at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.

Speaking during the Supply Bill 2026 debate on Wednesday (Nov 12), she expressed disappointment at being denied entry despite invitations.

The play, Cik Ros, celebrated the life and legacy of the late Dr Rosminah Mohd Tahir, a pioneering figure in Malaysia’s theatre scene.
