Opposition wants government to withdraw from Rome Statute of ICC

Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government's decision to accede to the statute without due debate in Parliament was worrying.
A motion on this matter has been submitted and the Speaker is expected to make a ruling next Monday.
The opposition has also filed a Private Member's Bill to urge the federal government to withdraw from the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
