Ops Selamat PaPa marks full enforcement of Act 852 on smoking products, says Dzulkefly

The Health Ministry (MOH) has launched ‘Operasi Selamat Paru-Paru’ (Ops Selamat PaPa), marking the full enforcement of the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 [Act 852] after a year-long transition period.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the enforcement, which began on Wednesday (Oct 1), is a major step in reducing smoking and protecting future generations from tobacco and e-cigarette harm.
