Orang Asli kids caught violating MCO: We will never arrest kids, say cops

The police will remain strict in enforcing the Movement Control Order (MCO) and enhanced Movement Control Order, but will use discretion in dealing with children.
Johor Police Chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay was commenting on a video of Orang Asli kids in Taman Sri Banang, Kampung Minyak Beku in Batu Pahat, who were stopped by a police team passing through the area, adding that the police would never arrest children, as it would leave a deep trauma on them.
