Over 160k higher learning students staying on campus despite intake deferment, Parliament told

Over 160,000 students from private and public higher learning institutions are still staying on campus despite the deferment of physical student intakes for the 2020/ 2021 session due to growing Covid-19 cases, says the Deputy Higher Education Minister.
Datuk Mansor Othman told Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun (Bersatu-Beaufort) that during Question Time on Thursday (Nov 19), adding that the ministry was concerned and had given special consideration to students who were required to stay on campus.
