Over 2,000 investigation papers opened against civil servants over graft probe since 2016

The Dewan Rakyat was told that a total of 2,287 investigation papers have been opened against civil servants to probe complaints of corruption, abuse of power and misappropriation between 2016 until September 2020.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said that in reply to a question from Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid (PH-Kapar) on Thursday, adding that the government was committed in its effort to combat corruption, improve integrity, and to practise good governance, adding that various anti-corruption initiatives have been taken by the government to combat corruption.
