Over 200 anti-drug raids in Kedah, Perlis lead to 191 arrests

A massive police operation saw 191 suspects detained for drug offences in 231 raids from last Thursday (April 9) to Sunday (April 12).

NCID director Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the raids in Langkawi, Kuala Kedah and Perlis, codenamed Ops Langka, were launched following Home Ministry concerns of increased drug use in the two states.
