Over 270,000 PR applications approved, Dewan Rakyat told

A total of 270,837 applications for permanent resident (MyPR) identity cards have been approved by the National Registration Department (JPN) as of June this year, said Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Mohamed Said.
The Deputy Home Minister told the Dewan Rakyat that on Monday (Aug 17) when replying to a question from Natrah Ismail (PH-Sekijang), adding that JPN had rejected a total of 1,430 applications from 2015 to July 2020.
