Over 5,000 people paint George Town pink on City Day

Fair weather greeted about 5,000 people wearing pink T-shirts as they marched through the streets of the heritage enclave in George Town, Penang on Sunday (Jan 1) morning.
Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow flagged off participants of the George Town City Walk from City Hall as they marched passed landmarks like Fort Cornwallis, Khoo Kongsi, St George's Church, Goddess of Mercy temple, Masjid Kapitan Keling and Little India.
