Over 51,000 prison inmates, personnel infected with Covid-19 since 2020, says Deputy Home Minister

More than 51,000 individuals, including nine babies, consisting of prison inmates and staff have contracted Covid-19 since last year.
Speaking in the Parliament on Sept 28 (Tuesday), Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Mohamed said that to date, a total of 51,123 individuals consisting of prison inmates, staff and their family members had contracted Covid-19.
