Penang cops bust illegal medicine syndicate, products worth RM14mil seized

Police have crippled an unregistered medicine processing syndicate in Penang with the arrests of four and the seizure of products worth RM14mil.
State police chief Comm Datuk Sahabudin Abd Manan said the syndicate had been active since early this year, adding that the suspects were detained during several raids conducted on a factory in Bukit Mertajam that was believed to be processing drugs and a shop in Butterworth.
