Penang’s Francis Light statue vandalised with red paint

Vandals have splashed red paint on the statue of George Town founder Captain Francis Light in Penang.
The statue was erected 84 years ago to commemorate Francis Light's contribution to the founding of George Town.
Checks on Thursday showed that the statue had been cleaned but some paint marks were still visible.
