Penang water cut: Supply restored to about 60% of consumers

Water supply is back to normal for about 350,000 or 60% of affected consumers in Penang just over 30 hours from the start of the scheduled disruption.
Deputy Energy Transition and Public Utilities Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir on Thursday (Jan 11) said water supply has normalised in the three districts in Seberang Prai and the northeast district on the island.
