PERKESO to launch operation to enforce mandatory registration of foreign workers

The Social Security Organisation (PERKESO) is launching an operation to target employers who have not register their foreign workers for the mandatory contributions.
Effective Friday (Nov 1), PERKESO group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Dr Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed said that the operation codenamed Ops Kesan will be activated in all its 54 offices nationwide, aiming to to ensure comprehensive coverage for foreign workers employed in Malaysia.
Dr Mohammed Azman emphasised that employers have no valid reasons for non-compliance, as these requirements are the same as those already applied to local employees.
