PKR to launch early election campaign in Kedah and Perlis to counter Perikatan

PKR will launch early election machinery drives in Perikatan Nasional-ruled Kedah and Perlis within two weeks, party election director Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said.

Speaking at the 2026 PKR National Congress on Sunday (Aug 16), the PKR vice-president urged delegates to begin preparations for the upcoming polls.

The Selangor Mentri Besar was responding to Kedah Mentri Besar and Perikatan election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, who said PAS aimed to use Selangor as a launching pad to defeat Pakatan Harapan in the state and the 16th General Election.
