Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed hope that the appointment of former Federal Court judge Tan Sri Nallini Pathmanathan as chairman of the Malaysian Media Council (MMC) would enhance the council's image and strengthen public confidence in the body.
