Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Thursday said that he does not believe in sacking people unless it is proven that they have committed a serious offence.
He said this in response to calls by the opposition lawmakers to sack Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, following the Seremban Sessions Court’s decision to drop two changes against Seremban Jaya assemblyman P. Gunasekaran over alleged links to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
