PM: Govt is committed to APM’s welfare and upholding its role as first responders

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the government is committed to upholding the Civil Defence Force or APM’s role as well as taking care of their staff’s welfare.
He said the operations scope of the Civil Defence Force or APM will be expanded in a move to bolster the APM’s position as the country’s frontline in emergency services.
The prime minister said this during the APM’s 69th anniversary celebrations at its headquarters in Kajang on Wednesday.
