PM: Govt to allocate RM4.8bil for creating 600,000 jobs

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic changing the country's employment landscape, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said things have gradually improved with the unemployment rate dropping to 3.9% in April this year, and the government is targeting to provide a total of 600,000 job opportunities with an allocation of RM4.8bil via the Malaysian Family Employment Guarantee scheme.
The Prime Minister said that in his closing speech at the Barisan Nasional Youth Job Fair 2022 on Sunday (June 26),and cited several other government initiatives that had helped job seekers find new jobs.
