PM: Govt will improve Budget 2023 and maintains “good policies’

The government will revise and improve the 2023 budget tabled in October, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, told reporters that after presiding over a special Cabinet meeting on Monday (Dec 5), adding that the government will not roll back certain decisions made by the previous administration, but he did not identify them.
The Prime Minister also said the unity government will maintain the "good policies" of the previous administration, adding however that they would be stricter about allowing projects to be approved without tenders.
