PM launches guidelines for commercial organisations to reduce corruption risk

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad launched the Guidelines on Adequate Procedures for Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act (MACC) 2009 at the Seminar on Anti-Corruption Champions: Sharing session with winners of the Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award 2018 on Monday.
Mahathir said he hoped that the guidelines can be used as reference points for anti-corruption policies, procedures, and controls commercial organisation implement, when the enforcement of Section 17A starts on June 1, 2020.
