Police force wants incentives for marine cops, higher uniform allowance

Bukit Aman Management Department director Comm Datuk Abd Rahim Jaafar told reporters on Monday that the police force had applied to the government to provide incentives of RM500 for 2,270 marine police officers and personnel.
He said they hoped that the government would consider their request as they had never received such incentives since the establishment of the marine police in 1947.
He said the police had also asked for the police uniform allowance to be raised from RM500 to RM1,000.
