Police give green light to Saturday’s solidarity rally

Police have given green light to the ‘Peace, Solidarity Rally’ which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The IGP said the permit will nonetheless only allow the rally, which aimed to condemn the shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand last Friday, which killed 50 people, including one Malaysian, to go on at Dataran Merdeka from 7.30am to 11am.
