Police, JPJ seize 118 overloaded lorries in Johor

Johor police found that more than 90% of the lorries checked in the state over the past five months were found to be carrying weight above the maximum capacity allowed.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay told the press on Wednesday (Oct 21) that during ‘Ops Perdagangan’ conducted from June to October, some 261 lorries out of 239 lorries were overloaded.
