Police will call back two colleagues of fallen firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim who were with him when he was critically injured for additional statements.
“Following the results of the inquest last year, police have recalled all the witnesses. In addition, 52 new witnesses have been called as well and their statements recorded.
“This is the latest of our action. Both have consistently said that they did not see anyone attack Adib. So no statements can be linked to Adib being murdered,” said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador on Friday.
The IGP also said the police will continue investigating the incident until they find the real truth behind Adib’s death.
