Post-Hari Raya Haji traffic - smooth but expected to increase

Traffic on several major expressways in the country was mainly smooth and under control on Sunday but the volume is expected to increase with city dwellers returning from their hometowns after celebrating Hari Raya Haji.
Meanwhile, motorists using the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway have been advised not to perform prayers on the emergency lane due to safety factors, following a picture that went viral on social media showing highway users performing Subuh (dawn) prayers on the emergency lane at KM32 of the Karak Highway due to traffic congestion.
