Power cut ruckus in Sabah shows council president waving money

A video of Sandakan Municipal Council president Datuk Peter Hii waving money in a bid to ask Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd to reinstate power to a relief centre in Sandakan has gone viral.
The company had cut off the power supply the Kampung Air community hall which was housing victims of a fire in the area that destroyed 37 houses on Sunday.
It was reported that the unpaid bills amounted to RM2,900. The electricity was restored later in the evening.
