Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced on Sunday (June 21) that the government will reduce the price of subsidised diesel to RM2.10 per litre for eligible Malaysians beginning July 2026.

He said the move will be implemented through the reform of the targeted diesel subsidy, in line with the approach used under the Budi Madani RON95 (Budi95) initiative, with verification conducted via MyKad.
