Ad hoc prosecutor Datuk V. Sithambaram said that he is happy that the High Court judge has found that the prosecution case was proven beyond reasonable doubt.
Sithambaram told the press covering the high-profile SRC International trial on Tuesday that he does not know when the accused, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, will be sent to prison, as it depends on the outcome of a decision made by the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court.
Najib has said that he would appeal the court’s decision to sentence him to 12 years in jail for criminal breach of trust, money laundering and abuse of power charges involving RM42mil from SRC International.
