A few hundred protesters gathered in New York's Times Square after Israeli airstrikes pounded Gaza and killed more than 400 people on Tuesday (March 18).

The newest attack shattered nearly two months of relative calm since a ceasefire began, as Israel warned the onslaught was "just the beginning."

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators vastly outnumbered Israeli sympathizers during the rally, which began after normal working hours.
