Putra Heights inferno: Selangor govt offers 100 temporary rental units in Sepang

The Selangor government is offering 100 temporary rental units at Sri Suria Apartments in Kota Warisan, Sepang to residents affected by the gas pipeline explosion in Putra Heights on April 1.

Selangor State Executive Councillor for Housing and Culture, Datuk Borhan Aman Shah, said at a press conference on Monday (April 14) that the initiative is a swift response to ensure victims have a safe and comfortable place to stay during the recovery period.

He added that the state government is also partnering with Sime Darby Property Berhad to offer 66 homes—available for rent or purchase at special rates—as a medium- to long-term housing solution in Serenia City, Sepang, and Bandar Bukit Raja 2, Klang.
