Putra Heights inferno: Victims to receive additional financial aid from Petronas

Homeowners affected by the gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights will receive additional financial assistance of RM5,000 or RM2,500 from Petronas, depending on the extent of the damage to their homes, said Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

Speaking to reporters on Monday (April 7), Amirudin explained that the RM5,000 contribution is for homes deemed a total loss, while RM2,500 will be given to other affected households, in addition to the assistance previously announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
