Reaching out for help: Suicide prevention during Covid-19

Malaysia recorded an average of almost four suicide cases every day for the first three months of this year, more than half of what was reported throughout 2020.
In an interview with The Star, Ardy Ayadali, the publicity director of Befrienders KL, said one of the ways to help those dealing with suicidal thoughts is by providing them a safe space to ventilate and express any feelings they have been experiencing.
