Renewable energy proposed for three islands, says Takiyuddin

Three islands in the country are being proposed to be green energy islands, using 100 percent renewable energy, said Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.
The Energy and Natural Resources Minister told a press conference this after the opening ceremony of the Fifth International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) 2022, that the islands will be Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian, and Pulau Tioman, adding that a proposal paper on the initiative was presented to the Cabinet last Friday.
