Replace anti-hopping law with a recall act, says MCA

MCA has reiterated its stance that the Anti-Hopping Law should be replaced by a Recall Act, as the former has been exploited by political parties, says Datuk Chong Sin Woon.

The MCA Secretary-General argued for the empowerment of voters to decide the fate of elected representatives, upholding their freedom of association without political interference.
