Retiree completes 2,400km run for children with cancer

After eighty-six days, retired civil engineer Lim Shyang Guey crossed the finish line, completing an almost 2,400km run around Peninsular Malaysia in support of children battling cancer.

The 66-year-old returned to Penang, across the finish line at 5pm on Sunday (June 21) at his alma mater, Penang Free School, where he was welcomed by hundreds of supporters, family members, fellow runners and well-wishers.
