RM1.1bil valuation of seized items “not an exaggeration”, says IGP

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun told a press conferece on Thursday that the RM1.1bil valuation of cash and items seized from premises linked to ex-Premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak is not exaggerated and done by the experts who assisted investigators. Asked if Najib would be allowed to view the seized items, Fuzi said the police would consider the request and adhere to procedure. In an interview with Malaysiakini, Najib claimed the price of jewellery and other items seized had been "exaggerated" by the police.
