Rosmah just a scapegoat in solar hybrid project graft case, claims lawyer

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has been made a scapegoat despite other parties being involved in purported graft in relation to a solar hybrid project for rural schools in Sarawak, claims her lawyer Datuk Akberdin Abdul Kader.
He said there were parties in the administration, particularly in the Education Ministry at the time, who conspired with Jepak Holdings, the company from which Rosmah was alleged to have solicited a bribe.
Akberdin was giving his opening statement on the first day of the defence trial at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday (Oct 5).
